Project Outreach

The teachers affiliated with the Red Cedar Writing Project have joined teachers in California, New Mexico, Alaska, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Louisiana, West Virginia, Georgia, Mississippi, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, Oklahoma, and Nevada in Project OUTREACH, funded by DeWitt Wallace and the National Writing Project. Each of the eighteen project sites are conducting research focusing on the particular professional development needs of teachers in low-income school districts and leadership opportunities for teachers who represent racial, ethnic or linguistic diversity.
