Faculty Learning Communities & Faculty Writing Project

During the Fall 2005 semester, the Writing Center will begin facilitating a Faculty Learning Community (FLC) that focuses on Writing in the Disciplines. This FLC introduces faculty to current theory and practice in the teaching of writing, provides them opportunites to share their best practices for using writing as a way of learning, and supports their work to compose and publish in their fields of interest. Participation in the next Faculty Writing Project will be open to participantsin the 05-06 Writing in the Disciplines FLC.
