As a part of the Humanities Without Walls initiative, The Writing Center at Michigan State University is hosting a series of events focusing on the Global Midwest, particularly on the theme of hunger.
Sunday, November 9th, beginning at 6:30pm
Join us at the Abrams Planetarium on Sunday, November 9 to write about, illustrate, and create representations of what hunger means to us. Bring your family and friends—children and teens welcome!—and one non-perishable food donation item per person to participate. We’ll collectively write in an inspiring environment, thinking about how we experience hunger in our lives, and how the world around us experiences hunger.
This event is sponsored by the Writing Center at MSU, Abrams Planetarium, the Humanities Without Walls initiative, and the Greater Lansing Food Bank. You can visit the event’s Facebook page for updates.
